Sharpen 4.0 or 4.1 Model Download Is Slow Or Not Working

In Sharpen AI 4.0 and higher, not all of the AI models are packaged in the installer itself. If you have any conflict with the individual model downloads in Sharpen AI v4.0 or higher, you can manually download the models all at one time by following the instructions below.

The purpose of this manual model download is to add the model files that are missing. Potential conflicts this download would resolve would be unusual slowness downloading the models individually, your model downloads being interrupted and/or forced to repeat by your anti-virus program, or if you'd just like to download the models all at once for convenience.

Planned tests and iterations of our model download experience should improve this process in the future.

Download Missing Models On Mac: 

1) Close the app and download the models folder from: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hHVzaIDJTYPRX7YC4PPXIPgBm4He1p8n/view

2) Unzip the folder

3) Go to /Applications/ in Finder. Right-click (or use Control + click) the Topaz Sharpen AI application.

4) Click Show Package Contents > Contents > Resources > Local > tgrc

5) Move the unzipped model files from step 2 into the tgrc folder 

If it asks you to confirm replacing some files, you can ignore that as the purpose here is only to add the files that are missing

Download Missing Models On Windows:

1) Close the app and download the models folder from: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1e1vgjlWEp2sAkrlXclixBQ1HwGx7juzv/view?usp=sharing

2) Unzip the folder

3) Go to C:\ProgramData\Topaz Labs LLC\Topaz Sharpen AI\models\

As a note, the ProgramData folder can be a hidden folder on Windows by default. If you can't find it in C drive, you can just type in or copy & paste the path in your File Explorer address bar.

4) Move the unzipped model files from step 2 into the models folder
