How to Use Topaz Photo AI with Apple Photos

The Topaz Photo AI plugin is automatically added to Apple Photos when Topaz Photo AI is installed. 

If you do not see it immediately, quit Apple Photos and reopen.

To use it:

  1. Open an image in Apple Photos.
  2. Click the Edit button on the top right.
  3. Click the three dots > Edit in Topaz Photo AI.
  4. Apple Photos sends the image to Topaz Photo AI.
  5. After processing, a JPG file is returned to Apple Photos.

The Apple Photos plugin will always return a JPG file to your catalog, no matter what the input file type is.
