Turn Off "Store Presets with this catalog" option in Lightroom Classic (Mac)
Our apps install to the default Lightroom external editor folder on your computer. If you are using a catalog where your presets are stored directly to the catalog, our presets may not show up when you open that catalog. If our apps don't show up as presets, you can confirm if this is the cause by following these steps.
Step 1:
Open Lightroom and click on “Lightroom Classic” at the top of the screen to open a drop-down menu and select Preferences.

Step 2:
In the Preferences panel, click on the Presets tab.
Step 3:
In the “Presets” tab, go down to the location section and make sure that “Store presets with this catalog” is unchecked as it is in the picture below.

Step 4:
Quit and restart Lightroom. After unchecking the "Store presets" option, it will show the prompt “Takes effect upon restarting Lightroom,” so you'll need to completely quit out of Lightroom and reopen it to check for our presets again.
