It's update time again!  Many of you are finding that your plugins are not working or are not there at all in your new Photoshop CC 2015 update.  Here's how to fix it. 

 

Copy Plugins, without Reinstalling

Windows

  1. Close all open Photoshop applications
  2. Navigate to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2014\Plug-ins
  3. Copy all the Topaz Plugin files you see there (tlsimplify4ps_x64.8bf, TopazRemaskAutomation.8li, tladjust5ps_x64.8bf, etc.)
  4. Navigate to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2015\Plug-ins
  5. Paste all the files you copied from the 2014 folder
  6. Restart Photoshop CC 2015, and you should see your plugins! 

Mac

  1. Close all open Photoshop applications
  2. Navigate to Applications/Adobe Photoshop CC 2014/Plug-ins
  3. Copy all the Topaz Plugin files you see there (tlsimplify4ps_x64.8bf, TopazRemaskAutomation.8li, tladjust5ps_x64.8bf, etc.)
  4. Navigate to Applications/Adobe Photoshop CC 2015/Plug-ins
  5. Paste all the files you copied from the 2014 folder
  6. Restart Photoshop CC 2015, and you should see your plugins!

Additional Steps for Mac Users (video below):

  1. Open Finder
  2. Navigate to Mac HD / Library / Application Support
  3. Highlight Topaz Labs
  4. Hit Command + I (for Get Info)
  5. Click the Lock icon at the bottom right hand corner of the window pane that comes up, enter credentials
  6. Make sure that your user and "everyone" has Read and Write access to the Topaz folder
  7. Click the Cog Wheel icon and choose "Apply to enclosed items" ← This is a very important step, do not forget to do this!
  8. Click the Lock Icon to finish!
