If you receive the following error, this indicates that you are not able to access the libraries that allow our software to function:

You will need new installers. Simply fixing permissions below is not enough. You MUST use the latest installers from our Downloads Page.

Failure to use new installers will result in a continuance of the Error 2000. If you still see Error 2000, you still have an older version of the plugin installed.

With the update to OS X 10.11, our plugins require an update to continue to run. If you do not install the latest versions, then you will continue to see this issue, even after running the fix below. The following products are not compatible with OS X 10.11, and must be updated to the latest versions:

Topaz ReMask 4  Topaz ReMask 5

Topaz DeNoise 5  Topaz DeNoise 6

Compatible in OS X 10.11 El Capitan:

Adjust 5

Lens Effects
Star Effects
Texture Effects
DeNoise 6
ReMask 5

All products on our Downloads Page are currently compatible with OS X 10.11 and higher. If you still receive the Error 2000 after installing from our Downloads Page, use the Permission Utility found at the page below, then reinstall your plugin:

After following this procedure, reinstall your plugins.  Please do not use installers you already have.  Head to our Downloads Page and grab the newest copy of the installer file you need, as we will always have our updates posted here.

You should find your Topaz Labs application library files in the following folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Topaz Labs\

If you do not see the files here, then you will need to uninstall your software completely, and reinstall.  Do not use any installers you already have, please head to our Downloads Page and grab the latest installer files.  When you have downloaded the installer, right click the file and select Run As Administrator.  This will ensure you are giving the installer permission to install in all folders it needs to.  Here's that option:

If the installation is successful, then your C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Topaz Labs folder will look like this:

If this process did not work for you, please reach out to us using the button below, and we will work with you to figure out why it did not work!
