If your download stops, fails, gives an NSIS error
Note, NSIS errors are specific to Windows
Option 1: Open from Command Prompt
If you have downloaded the entire file, i.e. the download does not stop, but you are still receiving an NSIS error, these steps may allow you to complete the installation:
Open Command Prompt window. To do so, click Start , and in the search bar type cmd.exe. Click the Command Prompt option to open the Command Prompt window.
Drag your installer file into this window.
Press the space key once and type /NCRC and then press Enter. The installation should begin.
In the Cached Web Content section, click Clear Now.
Close the about:preferences page. Any changes you've made will automatically be saved.
Option 3: Use a different web browser
If none of the suggestions above worked, you may need to try a different web browser. Your web browser is the application that enables you to access web pages, so you are currently reading this in a web browser. The buttons below will take you to a website that will allow you to download and install for your computer. You can choose from the download page whether you are using Mac or Windows.
