Fixing Error LOADING Model in Topaz Photo AI
This error appears when a model file needed to process an image is missing. Please go through the sections below sequentially to troubleshoot this error.

1. Missing Model Files & Reinstalling
It's very likely that your installation of Topaz Photo AI is missing model files. This can happen if antivirus, firewall, or a VPN blocked the installer from downloading the files.
Please disable any of the above software, then run the Topaz Photo AI installer again which will repair your installation and add any model files which were missing.
2. Firewall, Anti-virus or VPN blocks AI Models from installing
If any firewalls, anti-virus or VPNs are enabled, these could also prevent models from installing. Try testing a mobile hotspot to rule our router blocking.
3. Contact Support
If that does not fix it, please open Topaz Photo AI and go to the menu bar on the top. Click the Help > Open Log Folder menu option, which will open up a folder with text files. The folder will look like this.
Email help@topazlabs.com and attach ALL the text files in the folder to the email. Make the email subject "Error Loading Model in Topaz Photo AI" so our support team can quickly review and help you resolve the error.
Fixing Error RUNNING Model in Topaz Photo AI
This error occurs when the graphics card or AI engine is not able to run a model. Please go through the sections below sequentially to troubleshoot this error.
1. System Requirements & Incompatible Graphics Card
To troubleshoot this error, please first check that your computer meets the system requirements for Topaz Photo AI.
System Requirements for Topaz Photo AI
If your computer graphics card does not meet the system requirements, you can open Topaz Photo AI and click the Processor menu to try the CPU option (in Edit (Topaz Photo AI on Mac) then Preferences then General then AI Processor). Using CPU can be a workaround, however CPU does not replace VRAM and processing on CPU can we slow.
2. Graphics Card Driver Outdated
If your computer meets system requirements, the graphics card driver may possibly need an update.

3. Contact Support
Open Topaz Photo AI and go to the menu bar on the top. Click the Help > Open Log Folder menu option, which will open up a folder with text files.
Email help@topazlabs.com and attach ALL your Log files and System Profile in an email. Type in the email subject line: "Error Running Model in Topaz Photo AI" so our support team can quickly review and help you resolve the error.
